There's an epic post coming regarding the weekend, but work is extremely busy today. Also, through all my fun, just now the nagging thought in the back of my head has come to the forefront - Jesse leaves tomorrow for tour. He only returned three weeks ago, and it's been a whirlwind of activities and transitions and changes, and now he leaves again. He'll be back in a month and a half and I'll be visiting him once in that time, but still. It always sucks. Always.

Tonight it's dinner and a movie and hugs and kisses and cuddles and smiles - because at least he can always make me do that :)

The weekend's been amazing so far. Really great. I'll tell you more about that later. For now, I had to interrupt all my fun-having to bring you a special report:

Friends movie rumors.

Admitted: I'm a huge Friends fan. That said, I think a Friends feature film is a horrible, horrible idea! The show evolved into charicatures by it's final seasons, and it finally ended. It's charm was the characters in their 20s, facing (mostly) light life issues. Even when it wasn't particularly light subject matter, it was treated lightly (Ross' divorce, Ross' child, Chandler & Monica not being able to have a child). I don't know how sustainable a half-hour sitcom can be for two hours on the big screen.

Its characters didn't have deep drama like Sex and the City, which had enough mystery in its finale. But in the Friends finale, Monica and Chandler move out of the iconic apartment and Ross and Rachel have a baby. Are these six supposed to still be the same in their late 30s/early 40s? Is Joey still a slut - because at 20 it's "sowing his oats," at 40 it's just pathetic. And Ross and Rachel have a child - but are they still going to be on/off like the show - which was a large part of the dynamic? Because with a kid involved, they can't bring that "charm" back. I could go on...

I don't know why I felt the need to blog this, but, uh, yeah. Agree/Disagree?
